Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Architect (F-16 Technical Order Repository)

Location: Hill Air Force Base, Utah

Pay: $60.00 per hr.

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Architect to join our team in support of the F-16 Air Force Support Equipment Modification Program. As the Aircraft Maintenance Architect, you will be responsible for conducting data investigations and research within the Lockheed Martin F-16 Technical Order Repository. This role will primarily focus on electrical data, so familiarity with basic aircraft electronics is essential.

You will provide engineering expertise for the development and updates of the Multiplex Bus Fault Isolator (MBFI), a key tool for troubleshooting and detecting faults within the multiplex busses of aircraft. A strong understanding of aircraft multiplex bus communication and 1553/194 standards is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data research and investigations within the Lockheed Martin F-16 Technical Order Repository, focusing on electrical data.
• Provide engineering support for the MBFI (Multiplex Bus Fault Isolator) development and updates, aiding troubleshooting and fault detection in aircraft multiplex busses.
• Read and interpret F-16 (preferred) fighter aircraft drawings to support engineering decisions.
• Collaborate within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) comprising contract labor, Lockheed Martin, and government civilian employees.
• Apply knowledge of SQL/databases and C++/C# for data-related tasks.
• Support the Agile Software development cycle.
• Develop, evaluate, and recommend design changes and alterations to aircraft systems, components, and associated equipment.
• Analyze operating data to identify causes of malfunctions, premature removals, or wear on parts and components.
• Prepare technical data, procedures, reports, drawings, manuals, and other required publications.
• Ensure compliance with company, governmental, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (F-16 preferred).
• A strong understanding of basic aircraft electronics.
• Familiarity with SQL, databases, and programming languages such as C++/C#.
• Knowledge of Agile Software development is a plus.
• Experience with aircraft multiplex bus communication and 1553/194 standards is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass a thorough background check to gain access to a U.S. government facility.
• A Final Secret Security Clearance is required by the first day of employment.

Desired Skills:

• 4-6 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably with F-16 aircraft.
• 1-2 years of experience creating and managing electronic databases.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
