BBSI is searching for a dedicated Construction Estimating Specialist to play a critical role in shaping the success of our projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project blueprints, specifications, and other documents to perform detailed quantity takeoffs for concrete flatwork.
• Collaborate with the estimating team to develop accurate and competitive project bids.
• Assist in preparing comprehensive cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather and validate pricing and scope of work.
• Support the estimating process by identifying potential risks and value-engineering opportunities.
• Maintain detailed records of estimates, bids, and project takeoffs for future reference.
• Ensure all estimates and takeoffs align with company standards and project goals.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in construction takeoffs and estimating, preferably in commercial concrete flatwork construction or masonry.
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and specifications.
• Familiarity with construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with the team.
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
