Job Description

Construction Project Coordinator

Construction company in southwest Charlotte looking for a Project Coordinator to join their team and support large-scale clients. Contract to hire. Pay: 24/hour. Regular business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Estimating:
  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and blueprints to understand project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers to determine the scope of work.
  1. Takeoffs:
  • Perform quantity takeoffs from construction documents to determine material requirements.
  • Use digital takeoff software and tools to ensure precision and efficiency.
  • Verify takeoff quantities against project specifications and drawings.
  • Assist in the preparation of bid proposals by providing accurate quantity data.
  1. Scheduling:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using project management software.
  • Monitor project progress and update schedules as necessary.
  1. Site Readiness:
  • Coordinate with site supervisors to ensure that the site is prepared for construction.
  • Address any site-related issues promptly to avoid project delays.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project coordination or a similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
