Job Description

BrightStar Senior Living is looking for a Director of Health and Wellness to join our amazing team in Mason. Our Director of Health and Wellness ensures proper clinical oversight and safety of BrightStar Senior Living residents, educates, and provides care and support to residents and their families and provides training/educational opportunities as well as schedules the community’s staff. Position Requirements

• Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the State.
• Two (2)+ years of experience working in a healthcare role as a nurse, preferably from within a Long Term Care, Assisted Living and/or Memory Care facility.
• Current Certification as a Trainer (through the state, if applicable) in classes such as Medication Management, First Aid and Choking, and Standard Precautions is preferred.
• Experience in staff scheduling is preferred.

Skills/Qualifications Requirements:

• Strong customer service and communication skills (must be able to communicate business related matters in English).
• Experience in a leadership or managerial position preferred.
• PC proficiency (including MS Office- Outlook, Word and Excel).
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to physically push a resident in their wheelchair distances of 50 feet or more on a regular basis.
• Knowledge of Hireology, OnShift, ECP a plus
