Job Description

HireNow Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Critical Care to oversee the overall operations of the Critical Care Unit in Wilson, NC . This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while managing clinical and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage critical care unit operations.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Foster a culture of excellence in patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and optimize workflows.
• Oversee staffing, resource allocation, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous performance improvement efforts.

Requirements

Must-Haves:

1. Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.
2. 5+ years of managerial experience in acute/critical care.
3. Current RN licensure in North Carolina or Multistate.
4. Proven ability to drive quality improvement initiatives and foster a culture of excellence in patient care.

Nice-To-Haves:

1. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices in critical care.
