Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager who will play a key role in providing valuable financial insights to senior leadership. This position is focused on analyzing financial trends that impact business performance, working collaboratively with senior management to drive strategic decisions. The role will be based on-site in Port Washington, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide detailed financial insights to the CFO and senior leadership by analyzing variances, trends, and performance, including monthly results, forecasts, and budgets.
Analyze financial trends, considering both internal business performance and external market dynamics, including competitor activity.
Lead the preparation of global budgets and forecasts, ensuring that reports, templates, and guidelines are aligned with organizational goals.
Support the monthly close process, including managing centralized financial processes and tools.
Partner with global business leaders to provide financial guidance, ensuring that costs are efficiently allocated and operations remain financially healthy.
Contribute to process improvements and the development of key financial and operational metrics, dashboards, and reports to enhance business efficiency and decision-making.
Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong experience in operational and P&L analysis, with a focus on business partnership and improving business performance.
Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders, understand business drivers, and implement strategies for improvement.
Strong presentation skills with the ability to manage complex data sets and communicate findings clearly to various levels of leadership.
Advanced Excel skills, including complex financial modeling and data analysis.
Proficiency with financial software tools such as Oracle, HFM, and Hyperion Planning.
Advanced PowerPoint skills for creating professional presentations for senior management.
Proven ability to meet deadlines and effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
Strong written communication skills, capable of preparing clear and concise reports and presentations.
At least 8 years of relevant experience, including industry experience and familiarity with financial consolidation processes.
Employment Type: Contractor
Salary: $ 165,000.00 Per Year
