The Role

The Lead Graphic Designer plays a pivotal role in shaping our brand’s visual identity across various platforms and touchpoints. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around creating compelling designs for both digital and print materials, including promotional materials, packaging, and digital assets for email and social media campaigns. You will collaborate with marketing teams to understand objectives and translate insights into impactful visual solutions that resonate with our guests. You will be responsible for maintaining brand consistency and quality across all design projects while adhering to established guidelines. In addition to design, you will be involved in pre-production tasks such as preparing files for print and digital distribution, ensuring accuracy and technical feasibility. We are looking for a creative, strategy-driven and self-motivated individual with a strong design portfolio and experience with con. Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive creative vision that aligns with the organization's brand identity and objectives.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and collaborate with cross functional teams to generate innovative concepts and strategies for event branding, visual design, content creation, and engagement
  • Provide regular updates on project status to cross functional teams to include status, challenges, and issue resolution throughout the lifecycle of the project. Partner with the marketing director, designers, copywriters, and brand managers to create seasonal marketing assets – both digital and print.
  • Partner with the photo studio to request image assets, submit shoot and retouch requests.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to design digital CRM, advertising materials, and internal communications.
  • Adapt quickly and maintain accuracy through frequent updates and promotional changes.
  • Stay up to date on current design and graphics trends in fashion, social media, and marketing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design.
  • 2+ years experience in retail, design studio, creative agency or freelance.
  • 2+ years experience with strategic brand marketing.
  • Proficient in Mac applications, Sketch, Invision, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Portfolio demonstrating a passion for design and a mastery of visual communication.
  • Highly collaborative and ability to work well within a team.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding work ethic, problem-solving, planning & presentation abilities.
  • Attention to detail is critical, as is the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for retail and knowledge of the Altar’d State family of brands.
