Job Summary:

This fast-growing, well-established manufacturer within the energy industry is seeking a Mechanical Engineer. The ideal candidate will design, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems to support the production, distribution, and sustainability goals of energy projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that impact renewable energy, power generation, and energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

• Develop mechanical systems for energy production, including turbines, heat exchangers, compressors, and energy storage systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet operational, safety, and sustainability requirements.

System Analysis and Optimization:

• Conduct feasibility studies, energy modeling, and system simulations.
• Analyze and improve existing mechanical systems to increase efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Project Management:

• Oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver projects successfully.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure all designs and operations comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Perform risk assessments and implement safety protocols for energy systems.

Innovation and Sustainability:

• Research and apply emerging technologies to advance renewable energy systems and sustainable practices.
• Drive initiatives to optimize energy usage and minimize carbon footprint.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the energy or power generation industry.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of mechanical, structural and hydraulic power engineering
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB).
• Experience with energy systems such as renewables (solar, wind), thermal power plants, or energy storage solutions.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO).
