Baer is looking for Oracle Fusion Cutover Lead for a 12+ month project located in Chicago Metro Area

Title: Oracle Fusion Cutover Lead

Location: Hybrid - Chicago Metro Area

Duration: 12 months

Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed

Alignment: W2 or C2C

Description:

• Create and oversee the comprehensive cutover plan for transitioning from legacy systems to Oracle ERP. Ensure the strategy aligns with project timelines and business objectives.
• Collaborate with business leaders, project managers, and functional teams to ensure the cutover plan aligns with the overall project goals and business needs.
• Lead the detailed planning, execution, and rehearsal of the cutover process. Ensure the migration of data, system testing, and resolution of any issues are completed within the agreed timelines.
• Establish and maintain robust communication channels with key stakeholders to ensure transparency, keeping everyone informed of timelines, risks, and progress.
• Identify potential risks related to the cutover process and develop proactive mitigation strategies to avoid or minimize disruption to the business.
• Lead and manage the cutover team, assigning tasks, ensuring collaboration across functional teams, and providing guidance to ensure objectives are met within the specified time frame.
• Prepare detailed cutover reports and documentation, capturing the progress, outcomes, and any post-go-live issues. Provide clear and concise information to management and stakeholders.
• Offer post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution, working with the functional teams to quickly address any challenges and ensure system stability.

Requirements:

• Strong track record in managing Oracle Fusion implementations, particularly in cutover and transition activities.
• Excellent ability to analyze complex situations, troubleshoot issues, and develop effective solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams. Experience managing teams through high-pressure, time-sensitive transitions.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders across different departments and levels.
• Experience in managing change and mitigating risks during system transitions and ERP implementations.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
• Relevant certifications or training in Oracle Fusion ERP and project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile) are preferred.
