Job Description

Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel is seeking a full-time, board-eligible or board-certified Pediatrician to join our primary care medical team. This is a fully benefited position in our vibrant pediatric clinic, which employs six providers and occupies a unique space in Portland’s healthcare landscape as a community-based clinic affiliated with a leading tertiary care children’s hospital.

Our clinic is dedicated to serving the diverse and underserved families in our community, as well as meeting the Medical Home needs of Randall Children’s Hospital patients. We strive to deliver evidence-based, high-quality, family-centered care. As a Foster Care Medical Home (FCMH), we provide specialized care to a significant population of medically and socially complex children, supported by two dedicated patient care coordinators.

The clinic also serves as a continuity training site for pediatric residents from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and actively engages in community service projects. We seek a Pediatrician who is passionate about community-based preventive healthcare, advocacy, and improving care for all children.

Randall Children’s Hospital has been a trusted leader in pediatric care across Portland and the Pacific Northwest for decades. As one of Oregon’s largest providers of pediatric inpatient and trauma services, our hospital features over 600 medical staff members, including pediatric specialists, hospitalists, and community pediatricians. With nearly 100,000 patient visits annually, our Children’s Emergency Department is the busiest in Oregon, handling over 26,000 visits each year.

We also partner with the Unity Center for Behavioral Health, offering an inpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Program—a unique collaboration among four healthcare systems in the Portland area. Additionally, Randall Children’s Hospital serves as a teaching facility for medical students and residents.

At Randall Children’s Hospital, we are committed to fostering a culture that values diversity and reflects the communities we serve. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply and help advance our mission of exceptional care for children and families.
