Spice Traveler, Prescott’s original hometown spice and gourmet food shop, is seeking an enthusiastic retail store manager. We are seeking a dynamic leader with a passion for gourmet food and specialty retail. You will lead our team and create an unforgettable shopping experience!

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced leader committed to excellence in customer satisfaction and achieving sales and profitability goals. You will foster a positive team environment while effectively managing staff. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in retail management, particularly in gourmet or specialty retail, who is ready to bring a driven, innovative, and energetic approach to leadership.

Spice Traveler offers dried herbs and spices, premium teas, gourmet foods, unique home décor, and one-of-a-kind gifts. Whether guests are home cooks, tea lovers, or searching for a perfect gift; our store is a one-stop destination for everyone who loves quality, creativity, and discovery. JP Retail Management is our parent company, an innovative retail chain with nine stores. Our headquarters is in Phoenix with locations throughout Northern Arizona. This position is based in Prescott, AZ and is not remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to increase foot traffic and customer satisfaction.

• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to

• sales staff.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.

• Oversee store administration and ensure compliance with policies and

• procedures.

• Maintain outstanding store conditions and merchandising standards and provide

• input product selection and displays.

• Report on buying trends, customer needs, and store performance.

• Collaborate on the in-store tasting menu to showcase products and drive sales.

• Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build

• career paths for the sales staff.

• Perform additional store manager duties as needed.

Skills

• Proven successful experience as a retail manager

• Strong leadership skills and business orientation

• Customer management skills and a sales-driven mindset

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Experience managing a sales team and overseeing inventory

• Specialty, boutique, or gourmet retail experience a plus

Compensation

• Salary range between $55,000 - $68,000 to start

• Monthly Bonuses for meeting sales goals

• 100% Benefits paid for the employee and 50% for dependents

• Paid time off and other incentives

• Relocation assistance for those 50 miles outside of Prescott

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
