Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP HANA Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in SAP HANA implementation, development, and support. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize SAP HANA solutions that align with business objectives.

• SAP HANA Development and Implementation:

  • Design and implement data models in SAP HANA using Attribute Views, Analytic Views, Calculation Views, and CDS Views.
  • Develop and optimize HANA models for performance and scalability.
  • Integrate SAP HANA with SAP and non-SAP systems for real-time and batch data processing.

• System Configuration and Administration:

  • Perform SAP HANA database installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot SAP HANA systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Manage data provisioning using tools such as SAP SLT, SAP Data Services, and SDI.

• Analytics and Reporting:

  • Collaborate with BI teams to develop high-quality dashboards and reports using tools like SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BO, or third-party BI tools.
  • Design complex SQL and stored procedures to extract and manipulate data for business analytics.

• Collaboration and Support:

  • Work with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for SAP HANA projects.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior team members and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture and process flows.

• Upgrades and Migrations:

  • Plan and execute SAP HANA upgrades, patches, and migrations, including S/4HANA conversion projects.
  • Conduct system assessments and recommend improvements in system architecture.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience with SAP HANA modeling, SQL scripting, and HANA XS Engine.
  • Proficiency in SAP BW/4HANA, SAP ECC, or S/4HANA integration with HANA.
  • Hands-on experience with data provisioning tools like SAP SLT, BODS, or SDI.
  • Solid understanding of SAP HANA performance optimization techniques.

• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP HANA development and support.
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA or SAP BW/4HANA implementation projects is highly preferred.

• Certifications:

  • SAP Certified Application Associate SAP HANA 2.0 (preferred).
  • SAP S/4HANA or SAP BW/4HANA certifications (a plus).

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP for SAP HANA deployments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
• Knowledge of additional SAP modules like FI/CO, MM, or SD is advantageous.
