Responsibilities

• Review and manage the company’s financial systems and daily/monthly accounting activities globally, ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in bookings, revenue forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Maintain compliance across financial operations, including cash receipts, accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, financial statement preparation and review, and monthly bank statement reconciliations.
• Provide financial suggestions, in-depth analysis, budgeting, and data-driven insights to the Management team as requested.
• Oversee budgeting processes and monitor progress against approved budgets and forecasts, addressing variances effectively.
• Manage cash flow and forecasting, ensuring the company meets operational and strategic financial goals.
• Develop and maintain appropriate internal controls, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Lead and supervise the audit process, including preparation, review, and collaboration with external auditors during annual audits.
• Ensure adherence to financial policies and compliance with international accounting and tax standards.
• Manage corporate tax planning and compliance, including preparation and submission of tax filings across regions (China, US, Hong Kong, and Singapore).
• Provide expertise on international tax strategies, transfer pricing, and tax treaty applications, optimizing global tax efficiency.
• Stay updated on tax regulations and advise management on implications for business strategy and operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on financial reporting, accounting, and tax experience, preferably in a global organization.
• BS in Finance or Accounting is required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• CPA certification is highly preferred.
• Proficient with financial software systems; experience with other regional systems is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of global tax policies, particularly in China, the US, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
• Expertise in transfer pricing, cross-border tax compliance, and international tax planning strategies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and regions.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin
