Job Description

Position Title : SOA Systems Engineer (US Citizens Only)

Location : Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• Design and implement SOA-based solutions, including service orchestration, governance, and integration with various systems.
• Develop and maintain scalable and secure enterprise service buses (ESB) and middleware solutions.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to integrate systems and applications using SOA principles.
• Ensure seamless communication and data exchange across heterogeneous platforms.
• Establish and enforce SOA governance policies, standards, and best practices.
• Monitor and optimize service performance, ensuring reliability and compliance with organizational requirements.
• Provide support for SOA systems, troubleshooting issues related to services, APIs, and middleware.
• Implement enhancements and resolve defects in existing SOA implementations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for SOA designs, processes, and configurations.
• Implement security protocols and standards to protect service interactions.
• Set up monitoring tools to ensure high availability and detect performance issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an SOA Engineer or similar role in an enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of SOA principles, patterns, and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with ESB platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Oracle Service Bus, Apache Camel, TIBCO).
• Proficiency in developing and managing APIs using RESTful and SOAP standards.
• Experience with XML, JSON, WSDL, and related technologies.
• Experience with middleware platforms and tools (e.g., IBM WebSphere, Apache Kafka).
• Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of security protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and WS-Security.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
