We are a fast-growing Metro-Denver CPA firm seeking a skilled and motivated  Tax Manager to help lead our tax practice division. This hybrid role offers the option to work from home with occasional days in the office.

As Tax Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role, overseeing complex tax preparations, mentoring staff, and serving as a trusted relationship manager for select clients. You’ll also have opportunities to engage in business development efforts, participate in consulting projects, and contribute to the firm’s growth.

What You’ll Do

• Provide leadership and expertise in federal and state taxation for clients and staff
• Prepare and review complex business, personal, trust, estate, and gift tax returns
• Conduct tax research, develop strategies, and deliver staff training
• Manage client relationships, ensuring quality service and trust-building interactions
• Oversee financial accounting records, including reconciliations, journal entries, and more
• Participate in business development efforts with potential for equity participation

What You Bring

• 4-5 years business/accounting degree, minimum 7-10 years’ experience in federal and multi-state taxation (or equivalent combinations of training and job experience)
• CPA designation in active status
• Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to help others
• Advanced degree in taxation and/or QuickBooks knowledge is a plus
