Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technician/Foreman in Commercial Roofing to join our dynamic team. With a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience, the ideal candidate will take a leadership role in overseeing, coordinating, and executing roofing projects. This is a full time position that provides an opportunity to work with a team of skilled professionals on diverse commercial roofing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Supervise and manage day-to-day roofing operations on job sites to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Roofing Installation and Repair: Perform and lead a variety of roofing tasks, including installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial roofing systems (e.g., TPO, EPDM, PVC, metal, modified bitumen).
• Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and guide crew members to perform at a high standard while fostering teamwork and collaboration.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections of work performed to ensure compliance with company standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
• Material Management: Assist in managing inventory and ensuring all materials, tools, and equipment are available and in good working order for each project.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all team members.
• Problem Solving: Diagnose and troubleshoot roofing issues, providing solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Communication: Act as a liaison between field crews, project managers, and clients, providing updates and addressing concerns as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial roofing, with demonstrated expertise in various roofing systems.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills with a proven ability to manage crews effectively.
• Comprehensive knowledge of roofing techniques, tools, and materials.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices in the construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to perform roofing tasks, including climbing, lifting, and working at heights.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification(s) in commercial roofing systems or safety training (e.g., OSHA 30, NRCA).
• Experience with roof inspections and documentation for warranty compliance.
• Familiarity with project management software or tools.
