Key Responsibilities:

* Lead projects from start to finish, overseeing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
* Manage and mentor staff, ensuring the successful completion of traffic/parking studies , feasibility studies , corridor planning , and safety audits .
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement work zone traffic plans, intersection design , traffic signal design , roadway signage , and pavement marking systems.
* Assist in preparing specifications, permits, construction schedules , and impact studies for a wide variety of projects.
* Serve as a key point of contact for clients, delivering excellent service and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships.
* Provide expert testimony as needed and coordinate with field inspection staff on project execution.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering .
* PE License in CT and/or NY , PTOE certification is a plus.
* Proven experience with traffic and transportation design , traffic signal operations , and safety audits .
* Proficiency in CADD software (AutoCAD or MicroStation).
* Strong knowledge of CTDOT design standards and NYSDOT/NYCDOT standards (preferred).
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, multidisciplinary teams, and regulatory bodies.
* A strong work ethic with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and traffic analysis tools .
