MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS OF MIG WELDING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED

Connect Staffing is looking for an eager Welder/Fabricator to join a leading Fabrication company in Houston, TX!

Training Schedule (First 2-3 weeks):  Monday - Friday 9:00 AM- 5:30 PM (Occasional weekends)

Regular Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:00pm - 9:30pm (Occasional weekends)

Welder/Fabricator Requirement:

• Must have at least 3 years of MIG welding experience.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Must be able to pass a background and drug screen.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Must have previous fabricating or metal experience.
• Prior experience in roles such as a Metal Fabricator, Pipefitter, Sheet Metal Worker, Fabricator, or Metal Worker is a big plus!

Welder/Fabricator Responsibilities:

• Handle movement of pipe along the length of table.
• Operate hand held grinders to be able to prep and handle pipes.
• Weld and joint pipes together using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or stick.
• Weld components in using manual welding style as well as operator welding.
• Fit and assemble pipe systems, including layout and installation of piping systems according to design specifications.
• Conduct inspections of welded joints and fabricated pipe components to ensure they meet industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
