Stadium People is currently hiring a full time Stadium Event Manager in Athens to work with our large University client there. This role is visible and high profile, so you must be skilled in communication and organization. Our state-of-the-art gig worker technology, combined with over 25 years of experience in hiring the best event workers, has allowed us unprecedented growth and the capacity to staff some of the largest events in the country.

As an Event Manager, you will assist the Sr. Event Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of a variety of events at stadiums, arenas, and other event venues. You will work closely with team members to ensure that all event logistics, operations, and staffing are handled efficiently. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in event management and grow within a dynamic and fast-paced industry.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate all event protocol from the client to Supervisory staff in charge of event personnel
• Plan event details with Sr. Event Managers prior to events to include equipment needed, food and water for staff, uniform preparation and more
• Distribute brief sheets at events to Supervisors who will brief and deploy their staff
• Work with the venue client on any last-minute changes or updates to event schedules
• Assist in the reconciliation of staff hours to facilitate payroll
• Manage event details on game day to include staff supervision, incident response, guest satisfaction, or moving staff to cover shortages

Qualifications:

• 1-5 years’ experience in a staff supervisory role
• High level of organization and planning skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Ability to assign and delegate tasks
• Strong motivation skills and ability to maintain composure in high stress situations
• Background in any customer service, retail, restaurant, events or hospitality fields
• Knowledge of Athletics and/or UGA would be a plus
