Operations Manager at Better U

We are seeking a driven and highly organized Operations Manager to join our team in our vibrant West Hollywood office. Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth workflows across all departments. Develop and implement operational policies, systems, and processes that drive efficiency.
- Project Management: Lead cross-functional projects to meet company goals. Create timelines, allocate resources, and ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Team Management: Build, manage, and motivate a high-performing team. Set clear goals, provide coaching and feedback, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Goal Setting & Execution: Work closely with the executive team to set strategic objectives. Translate these into actionable plans and ensure the team meets or exceeds targets.
- Scalability & Growth: Identify and implement strategies for scaling operations as the company grows. Optimize workflows to support rapid expansion while maintaining quality.
- Financial Management: Leverage strong experience with spreadsheets and financial modeling to manage budgets, forecast growth, and track key financial metrics. Collaborate with leadership to ensure financial health and sustainability.
- Strategic Partnerships & Sales: Drive B2B sales initiatives by developing relationships with enterprise partners in the employee benefits space. Identify opportunities for partnerships that align with Better U’s mission and expand our reach into corporate wellness programs.
- Problem Solving: Tackle challenges head-on with creative solutions. Be the go-to person for troubleshooting operational bottlenecks.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all operational activities comply with legal regulations and company standards.
- Vendor & Partner Relations: Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure seamless collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- 5+ years of experience in operations management or a similar role, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex projects successfully.
- Strong expertise in spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets), financial modeling, and data analysis for decision-making.
- Experience setting KPIs and tracking performance metrics to achieve business goals.
- Demonstrated success in building strategic partnerships and driving B2B sales—experience working with employee benefits or enterprise partners is highly desirable.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello) and familiarity with CRM systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
